Bipolar - Untitled

It's been a very long time since I submitted to DeviantArt. All this time I've been using my Facebook page but I think this is a more fitting platform for this stage.

This is an untitled piece in the Bipolar series I work on, from time to time. It was actually inspired by Mass Effect. After five years, or something, I finally got around to playing and finishing the trilogy and can see what all the hype was about. It is thr best series I've ever played.

As I walked home, one day listening to the soundtrack, it occurred to me that the game was a perfect allegory for the impending doom that is mental illness. The Reapers represented Depression - a seemingly unstoppable force that approaches and will decimate your entire galaxy and no matter how much you warn people or try to highlight them, they continue to second guess you and live in denial until it's too late.

now for the design. it will take a lot of inspiration and influence.
